IT Support Specialist

Our teams are growing at a fast pace and we are looking for an IT Support Specialist to work on the support and administration of our IT systems and workflows with a focus on delivering a great support experience to all Kinsta team members. This is a great opportunity to join a globally remote and distributed company at a time of exciting growth and pick up a breadth of experience by working on exciting projects in the early days of our IT team.

What you will do:

  • Assist Kinsta team members globally with support needs and guide them towards the most effective use of the technology tools at their disposal
  • Make sure the onboarding and offboarding of Kinsta team members is completed appropriately from an IT standpoint
  • Manage the delivery, repair, replacement, and retrieval of Kinsta-owned laptops and other Kinsta-owned IT equipment
  • Configure and support Kinsta’s mobile device management systems on all Kinsta-owned equipment
  • Help with the deployment and implementation of IT projects and initiatives

Who you are:

  • You have 1-3 years of prior experience in an IT role with responsibility for supporting Apple hardware and administering macOS systems.
  • You have general familiarity with Mobile Device Management (Mosyle, Kandji, Fleetsmith, or Jamf), Windows and Linux systems.
  • You are an excellent communicator and a proficient English-speaker.
  • You have excellent customer support skills and work well with people.
  • You have a desire to learn and develop skills.

Bonus points:

  • Prior experience administering Google Workspace, 1password, Atlassian (Confluence and Jira), Blissfully, and/or Slack.
  • Prior experience managing company-owned/leased equipment internationally.
  • Prior experience working remotely as part of a distributed team.
